I almost had a BMW

Yesterday was super windy and rainy. We were sitting inside when I hear this car peeling out. I think, wow, that sounds close. A few minutes later there is a BMW outside my front door. My driveway is rather steep and she just sliiiiiiiiid right down. I am glad she was pointed forwards or we could have seen a car go through the post. She could not get the car out, her daughter could not get the car out, so it just sat there all day. And we all sat waiting for Jared to come home. I know they were waiting for him because he hardly had time to take off his shoes before they were knocking at the door.
Now, Jared being male, does not realize that in all their apologies what they are really asking him to do is get them out of the mess. Preferably not by calling a tow truck. If they wanted it towed out they would have called one hours before. Finally it dawns on him, he gets in the car and shoots up the driveway, backwards, without even throwing a rock out of place.
Why do I share this story? Because I am so grateful for the men in my life, especially Jared, who seem to be able to do everything and get me out of all sorts of trouble. There is no way I could have gotten the car out of there. My heart freezes if I forget to put the truck in four-wheel drive going up.
