This is hard, I don't know if anyone even reads this anymore. But oh well.
We are doing well. We are back on day shift which is so nice. Heidi is still a little confused. If I ask her where Daddy is, she runs to the bedroom and bangs on the door. However, the weekends are so nice. We get to go to church as a family, which for any single wife is a blessing. Heidi bugs her dad constantly now. Her favorite thing to do is to run circles around him, literally. Sometimes she says "Duck, Duck, Goose" and attacks him, but usually she just orbits him.
I don't do a lot anymore. This pregnancy is a little harder. I am frequently sick, which makes activity repulsive. :) However, I am half way there and this one feels like it is going much faster. I am still Primary President and with a ever shrinking ward I now teach the Valiant class---a class of 7 with some very rowdy boys.
Heidi is the center of my life right now. We spend pretty much every waking moment together. She is learning very quickly. She will be 17 months soon, but already loves her "ABC's" and books. She also loves puzzles, peek-a-boo and any other game we can think of. She can identify most animals, if not by name then by sound. She can't do basic shapes yet, unless you consider hearts and stars basic. I think she is just so cute, most of the time. Until she insists on pulling off her clothes and then her diaper. Ahhhh!!! Do you know what a mess an 1 year old can make running around without a diaper? She is also not so cute at 4 am when she wakes up screaming in terror and then will not go back to sleep until 5. Or when she is scribbling all over the floor of a rented house. I have been blessed in the fact that our house is very small and she can't do too much damage.

I had to add this picture. One day Jared was doing something outside when a bald eagle landed in the tree. He and Heidi were able to get so close to it. Unfortunately the angle for the picture was poor, but you can still see it, if you look close.
