I said I would update this every month, but now I find that I don't really have a lot to say. We have been spending a lot of time reading lately. I got the book Twilight and it's sequals for my birthday and finished them within 3 days. The sad part is a few weeks later I read them all again and almost as fast. I am lucky that Heidi likes to read just as much. She tried to read Twilight, but after a few rounds of "where's the 'o'?" and "and it came to pass..." she jumped down and read a different book. We go to the library and check out about 5 books for her and she reads them over and over. She used to let me read to her, but now she reads to her teddy bears. Sometimes she tells the actual story, but frequently she tells the characters all about going potty and Elmo panties. It is kind of funny to watch. Her favorites right now are Curious George Feeds the Animals, Curious George and the Hot Air Balloon and Little Gorilla. Just a little bragging, but she counts to 10 in English and French and she can say her abc's as well as pick some out in books (o, w, I), she can also draw circles and people (I draw the faces, but she does the rest). Just had to get a little bragging in, I am so amazed by her every day!
She still spends a lot of time in the window doing whatever it is she does. Sometimes she shows her teddy bear the rain and sometimes she just colors or reads. I had to take this picture. 'Big Teddy Bear' is wearing panties and she put on her boots and made them sit next to her. The teddy bears get fed, disciplined, played with and potty trained just as much as Heidi. Probably disciplined a little more.
I just finished deciding scholarships. If you apply for a scholarship at least take the time to proofread your essay. We had one poor person who was going to "fallow" her dreams and that was only the first mistake of many. Kind of sad. Some of them were so good though.
Anyway, Heidi wants to listen to the ABC song, again, so I guess I am done. Tamazine said she wanted more pictures so here is one more.
